Ten Commandments list & meaning

1. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2. You shall make no idols.

3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

4. Keep the Sabbath day holy.

5. Honor your father and your mother.

6. You shall not murder.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. You shall not covet.

Religion is a solely personal event throughout life. Prayer is beautiful.

I do not believe in organized religion. That’s just me. To each, his own.

One’s personal relationship with God and Jesus is as precious as one’s own heart is to the body. Each of us know right and wrong. There is no hiding from oneself.

We all waiver, we all falter, we all make mistakes. It’s in acknowledging, committing to a new way, seeking kindness, forgiveness and love. Keeping your word to God.

In essence, being God’s true friend. Keeping your promises. Finding confidence in being honest and forthright. Know yourself. Make God proud of you.
